Hello all, It's been a long while since I last blogged. I have been spending my gardening days in the yard and watching video blogs of other peoples gardens. Day I participated in building a gardening mound with Permaculture Jax. It was a lot of fun and oh so very interesting. I truly enjoyed learning from other people and it is my intention to participate as much as I can and learn as much as I can. I have pictures of the process on my phone but unfortunately I don't know how to download them. Here are a couple of things that I grew, a pumpkin sprouted from last falls decoration and I planted, grew and ate a lot of strawberries this past season also. Happy gardening.
Hello everyone, it has been a long time since my last post, but I have been very busy gardening, working and playing around. This past year has seen a lot of changes in my garden. I've been hanging around with some permaculture people learning how to make my garden work with me and for me. I dug and planted a hugle mound today and it was a lot of fun and of course I put together a green house that took several weeks to figure out the directions for, as the photos didn't do much to help. The front yard was absolutely gorgeous this summer and also now into the fall. I have achieved my cottage garden, thank God for mullein as it has taken holly hocks place in my heart. sorry the picture is sideways I couldn't figure out how to turn it the right way when I posted it. And yes I have tomato's in the front garden, this plant has been in the ground since april, grew over the summer and started producing last month. I LOVE GARDENING. SEE YOU LATER, got a fig tree that I need to find a spot for. Happy gardening.
